OUR FOUNDING STORY

Dr. Trung - Cordyceps & Herbs embarked on its journey in 2018, driven by a simple yet profound aspiration: how to make the essence of Vietnamese medicinal herbs accessible to community life, especially those entering middle age - a time when the body needs more care from within.
Starting from a 30m² bedroom transformed into a cultivation room, the first batches of Cordyceps militaris were nurtured by passion and aspiration. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Trung, who earned his PhD in Germany, along with his colleagues, persistently experimented and overcame initial failures to optimize the cultivation process. Dr. Trung believes that every quality product crafted from native herbs is not only a result of science but also a testament to the dedication poured into the Vietnamese health journey. Overcoming the challenges of being a pioneer, Dr. Trung - Cordyceps & Herbs has gradually affirmed its position with a clear mission: to bring cordyceps and precious medicinal herbs closer to everyone, enabling more Vietnamese people to access natural healthcare solutions, proactively enhance their well-being, and fully enjoy life.

We aim to make precious medicinal herbs a natural part of everyone's healthcare journey. Dr. Trung is the leading manufacturer in Central Vietnam, providing cordyceps and herbal teas that empower middle-aged and elderly individuals to proactively enhance their health and truly enjoy life.

Dr. Trung is the first and largest brand in Da Nang to cultivate and trade Cordyceps militaris. We maintain full control over our process, from seedling treatment and cultivation to processing and final product packaging.
ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY
Our Cordyceps militaris is cultivated according to medicinal mushroom standards using an improved PBP+ formula enriched with protein-rich Spirulina algae. Our advanced freeze-drying technology (-40°C) helps the product retain 99% of its active content.

OCOP PRODUCTS
In 2021, after years of research and development, Dr. Trung - Cordyceps & Herbs officially had its first product, Freeze-Dried Cordyceps, recognized with 4-star OCOP certification at the Da Nang city level. This achievement is not only a testament to our product quality and the result of a dedicated journey but also a significant milestone, marking the local recognition of a medicinal herb brand growing right from this very land. OCOP CENTER
From the early days of participating in the OCOP program, Dr. Trung not only offered quality products but also consistently contributed to promoting local products through trade fairs and commercial promotion events. Thanks to these efforts and the city's trust, Dr. Trung was sponsored by the Department of Agriculture and Environment to build the Hoa Xuan OCOP Center at 256 Le Quang Chi street, Hoa Xuan Ward, Da Nang City. This center serves as both a display and promotion point for OCOP products and regional specialties to local residents, and a place to attract domestic and international tourists. Products sold at the center include various clean agricultural produce and reputable health foods. The Hoa Xuan OCOP Center is a cultural, economic, and community-connecting destination, contributing to the development of Hoa Xuan Ward in particular and Da Nang City as a whole. Read more
